These are all instructor-led activities run on-site at Camp Surf — archery, the 30-ft climbing tower (rope climbing), and the skate park (halfpipe). Helmets are required and provided for the skate park.
Group check-in window is 4:00–9:00 PM. Everyone checks in in person for a wristband and headcount, and the remaining balance is due once the full group has checked in. Quiet hours and office close at 9:00 PM, so aim to be in well before then.
Dinner is served buffet-style, followed by a campfire. Lights out by 10:00 PM.
Friday night in camp cabins/tent-cabins. Camp is drug-, alcohol- & tobacco-free — no BYOB this stop.
Buffet breakfast at Camp Surf before heading out — cereal and fruit bar plus a hot entrée.
Drive up to Mission Beach for the surf clinic. Lunch is included afterward.
15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, CA 92027 — roughly an hour from Mission Beach depending on traffic. A separate Safari Park admission ticket or membership is required for everyone, and parking should be paid in advance if possible.
Luggage drop is 4:15–5:00 PM in the Preferred Parking section, above row 1 — hand bags off to a Roar & Snore team member there (they'll be at the tent after dinner). Then head to Safari Excursions, next to the life-size giraffe statue, to check in with a coordinator and wait to be escorted to the campground.
Dinner is included, followed by a guided night hike and s'mores at the Roar & Snore campground. A private African tram tour is part of the program as well.
Tented camp near the habitats — no alcohol, coolers, candles/lighters, or outside food allowed on-site, and the Park is smoke-free throughout.
Breakfast is included. The Roar & Snore team escorts everyone back to the guest parking lot by 9:30 AM to collect luggage.
