🧳 Baggage — Two Different Limits

Camp Surf (Fri night): no strict bag limit, but pack light — gear gets hand-carried or cart-hauled a quarter mile to the cabins
Roar & Snore (Sat night): one sleeping bag + one duffel/suitcase per person, each clearly labeled with your name

Swimsuit & rash guard Wetsuit (optional — $10/weekend rentals available at the Camp Surf store) Closed-toe shoes (for the Safari Park night hike) Sneakers & flip-flops Warm layers for cool mornings & nights — Escondido runs colder than the coast Beach towel Toiletries & personal soap Sunscreen & a hat

🏕️ Overnight Gear — Both Nights

Bring one sleeping bag & pillow for both stops unless we upgrade to a Premium Roar & Snore tent (those include linens, a bed and a trundle bunk). Default assumption below is a Classic/Vista tent.

Sleeping bag Pillow Flashlight (don't shine it into habitats during the night hike) Reusable water bottle Any medications (keep locked/out of kids' reach)

🎫 Paperwork & Tickets

Each Roar & Snore participant needs a signed Consent & Release form — it's emailed out ahead of time, sign and bring it (or confirm it's submitted online).

Safari Park admission ticket or membership (required per person) Signed Consent & Release form (Roar & Snore) ID / payment for Camp Surf balance due Friday
